Telling The Truth Can Be Dangerous Business
Rob dropped me off at my house like 15 minutes before I was supposed to be at work, which is great timing I think. I had time to change my shirt, find my ipod and check my away messages. I'm just glad I didn't have to take the train.
Public transportation totally killed me this week. On my way to my mom's house Thursday I took the 104 Bus to 69th St. and caught the Market-Frankford Line to 30th St, where I took the R3 into Yardley. Would have liked to meet my sister in the city before heading home, but I didn't feel like waiting around the city for her. I ended up meeting her when she got off the train in Yardley.
My mom made dinner for me, her, Tammy and Matt. Nikki ended up not staying. She wanted to catch the train early because she had work on Friday.
My mom made Barbeque Chicken and Pork Chops with baked potatos and corn on the cob. Also there was birthday cake and donuts.
And on the way back to West Chester on Friday, I took the R3 to Market East and caught the R5 to Exton where I missed my bus to meet Jill at the mall. At the mall Jill and I got summer fashions for the party Friday night. We were literally fashionably late.
The party was fun, there was no cake, but pie instead. Prince was played on the stereo and S'mores were made in Kelly's new fire pit. Not a lot of people showed up. Not like our Barnard Street parties. It was mostly Kelly's friends on Friday. But I liked that better. I got spend more time hanging out with Sarah, Mike and Julie, Dominic, Jill, Beth, Marissa and Jon.
Rob and I went to ZineFest today. It was kinda fun, but really hot and overwheming. Rob described the weather today perfectly as it feels like walking around in someone's breath.
Last night we went to the 700 Club. It was a good time. Also, the second time there that someone asked me what the name of the bar was. I feel like it's code for something that I'm not aware of.
Slept over Rob's last night and today we watched Ishtar, maybe the best/worst movie ever.
