The Dust Brothers, Mike Simpson and John King, met at Claremont McKenna College in 1983. They did a radio show at Pomona College's radio station KSPC. It was the first all-rap radio show in Southern California.
The Dust Brothers went on to produce The Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique album, possibly the best hip-hop album of all time, they scored David Fincher's film Fight Club, and produced Beck's Odelay and Guero.
Oh, and they are responsible for those lame dj scratches in Hanson's MmmBop.
