Let's Be Enemies
Netflix and I are fighting. I used to get my movies in like three days. If I sent them in on Monday they would get there on Tuesday and I would get new ones on Wednesday. Now it takes like four days for them to send stuff to me. So now I can't watch more than 3 movies a week.
I printed out the first real copy of the 30 days project. It looks nice. Too many empty pages though. I think I figured out a way to print it for free. I'm going to print out copies for everyone who participated and then make a website for it. Prolly just a blogspot site. Unless anyone wants to help out that knows about making webpages. But I'm not putting it online until I send out all the print copies. So maybe August we are looking at now.
Today I listened to the Robyn album on the way to the post office. I'm pretty sure her song "Konichiwa Bitches" predates Gwen Stefani's "Harajuku Girls."
Speaking of Gwen Stefani, Read what Pitchfork said about "Hollaback Girl" in November of 2004. Talk about hitting the nail on the head.
Elsewhere on LAMB, the Neptunes shit out a Queen pastiche called "Hollaback Girl", which has about as much club potential as a 13-year old with a milk moustache and his dad's ID.
Also listened to Bob Dylan's The Times They Are A Changin' while shelving books at the library. It's a better album than John Wesley Harding and Bring It Back Home I've decided.
